In this special four-part webinar series, Jason R. Thompson, WGU's Vice President, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, will take participants through his new book, Diversity and Inclusion Matters, one section at a time, providing diversity officers with a blueprint, information, and tools to implement a successful diversity program.

Thompson will offer insights that to can help you jumpstart and implement a diversity program that can gain immediate traction. He will walk you through the process of execution, on a weekly, and even daily, basis. His book shares practical concrete steps about what data to collect, how to most effective analyze and assess that data, how to choose the right diversity goal given your current resources, and how to measure the impact of your DE&I efforts. By sharing practical step-by-step lessons learned, Thompson shows you the order of phases in building your program and what you should be working on at each stage.

Jason R. Thompson is a thought leader in diversity, equity, and inclusion, having spent the past 25 years building DE&I programs in sports, healthcare, technology, and education organizations.

His programs have won several awards at the local and international level. Most recently, the D&I Scorecard Jason developed received the top honor in the 2016 International Innovations in Diversity Awards program from Profiles in Diversity Journal, which also recognized him as a Diversity Leader in 2017 and 2018.
