WGU Partner Program
Western Governors University partner employers have the ability to meet their workforce needs by promoting their brand as an employer of choice among WGU students & alumni. Employers are invited to select from the menu of options below in order to best meet their unique needs. As a partner employer, employers are able to:
- Register for a complimentary employer account to post job opportunities on Handshake
- Search and review public resumes once registered for an employer account
- Send targeted emails, portal, and text notifications to qualified students and alumni for specified positions/hiring needs when a specific person of contact or special application link is provided for WGU students and alumni
- Include company logo and link to open positions under Partner Employers section on WGU Career & Professional Development homepage
- Participate in a webinar(s) (live and/or recorded) which could include:
Employer promotion & information session
Virtual meet & greet
Employer guest speaker on a career services topic
60-second employer “advice spot”
- Leverage facilitated organization, planning, and technology set-up for virtual interviews
- Advertise twice per year in the WGU student and alumni newsletters
- Contribute a guest post or participate in an employer spotlight post on the WGU Career Blog
- Request job posting promotions in social media channels
- Host a task challenge for WGU students and alumni to develop company awareness and support real-world application of learning
