WGU Texas Response to the Tragedies in El Paso

AUSTIN – As we continue to learn about the events in El Paso, WGU Texas stands with our students, employees, and the communities we serve as they come together after these tragedies.

“Our students, families, and the El Paso community are foremost in our thoughts and our deepest sympathies go out to them,” said Dr. Steven Johnson, Chancellor, WGU Texas. “We thank the first responders and local medical staffs for their courage and for their rapid response.”

As part of WGU’s outreach, we are offering additional support for students, faculty, and staff. WGU students may reach out to our support teams or their mentors. Students directly affected are part of the current outreach efforts and have been contacted. 24/7 support resources for faculty, staff and students are also available through the WGU WellConnect website or email at Higher.Education@e4healthcare.com.

Over the coming days, WGU Texas will continue to work with our partners to determine how we can best support our students, employees, and communities.
